It is also common to see people visiting graves of their loved ones, as a way to commemorate and honor the Virgin Mary. La Purisima Concepcion is celebrated by many different people in different ways. In many Latin American countries, it is a religious holiday and celebrated with family gatherings, special meals, and decorations. Those of the Catholic faith often take part in special processions to honor the Virgin Mary. In the United States, it is celebrated with parades, festivals, and special events featuring traditional music and dance. No matter how one celebrates it, it is a time to remember the important role the Virgin Mary has played in our lives.
